Date and time: 17th of October 2017, 10 am to 3 pm.
Place: Kista, Electrum, KTH Sal C.

In the framework of a EU project called ÉPRISE (https://eprise.eu/), PhotonicSweden is organising a workshop on October 17 in Kista (Stockholm) just before the annual conference “Optics&Photonics in Sweden”, October 18&19 at the same location.

The main themes of this workshop will be:
1. How do Swedish companies active in the field of photonics manage to enter Life Science markets (Medical, Pharma, Agriculture and Food)?
2. How do regional innovation strategies support these photonics companies and benefit from their growth?

The discussion of these themes at the Swedish level will be the basis (and a very useful input) for the “European Photonics Roadshow” which will start in 2018 and will consist of 7 major workshops in 7 countries (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK, the Netherlands and of course Sweden) around themes like Go-to-Market services and Life Science. This workshop on October 17 will be an excellent occasion for the Swedish Optics and Photonics companies and all other players in the life science sectors to share their experience, to network and to establish useful contacts with potential partners both in Sweden and in Europe.

The workshop is free of charge but requires a registration by October 10.
