DESCRIPTION:PREIN Workshop on Quantum Technologies\, Joensuu\, 10-11 November 2022\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe workshop organised in Joensuu aims at bringing together all partners involved in the new PREIN work package “Quantum Technologies” as well as all PREIN researchers who would like to contribute to the success of this quantum research. The general topics of the workshop include the development of components and schemes to generate\, detect\, and manipulate quantum states of light. These developments will lay the foundations for future quantum photonic networks and systems in quantum cryptography\, computation\, sensing\, and simulation. However\, we also welcome novel quantum technology focused ideas and topics to the workshop. \n\n\n\nLink for registration and abstract submission (please fill this form separately for each submission) \n\n\n\nRegistration and abstract submission deadline: Wed 19 Oct.​​​ \n\n\n\nThe 1 ½ days workshop will be an in-person event with presentations as well as extensive discussion opportunities to establish and strengthen the collaboration between the PREIN partners. \n\n\n\nProgram:The workshop will take place Thu 10 Nov at 09:00-18:00 and Fri 11 Nov at 09:00-12:00. DESCRIPTION:Photonics4Industry (P4I) ClusterXchange will be organised in conjunction with the Forest & Photonics (F&P) event that will take place on November 9-10th in Joensuu. This course is provided in collaboration with the Computational Spectral Imaging Lab of University of Eastern Finland within the PhotonHubPhotonics Innovation Academy initiative. This training is suitable for everyone who wants to gain and expand their practical knowledge on spectral imaging devices\, the data they collect and how that data can be used and analyzed. This training is very much hands-on with three demo sessions.
