SUMMARY:SuomiAreena: Valoa huomiseen - Fotoniikka ratkaisemassa globaaleja haasteita paneelikeskustelu
DESCRIPTION:Valoa huomiseen – Fotoniikka ratkaisemassa globaaleja haasteita 16.7.2021 klo 12:00 – 12:45.\n\n\n\nValo on ihmeellinen asia. \n\n\n\nJuontajana\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTilaisuuden pelinrakentajana toimii koko Suomen tuntema juontaja\, toimittaja sekä MTV3-kanavan uutisankkuri Peter Nyman. Paneelia varten Peter on vähintäänkin “valaissut”\, ellei suorastaan “sokaissut” itsensä fotoniikalla ja sen lukuisilla mahdollisuuksilla. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPanelisteina\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFotoniikan “Ison kuvan” rakentajana toimii itseoikeutetusti tulevaisuudentutkija Risto Linturi. Yhdessä Osmo Kuusen kanssa julkaistu Suomen sata uutta mahdollistuutta 2018 – 2037 on puhuttanut Suomen eduskunnan väkeä jo vähintäänkin neljän painoksen verran. Kuten arvata saattaa julkaisu on täynnä fotoniikkaa. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSuomen poliittisen päätöksenteon suunnat näyttää ympäristö- ja ilmastoministeri Krista Mikkonen. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProfessori Jyrki Saarinen on pitkän linjan fotoniikan moniottelija. \n\n\n\n\nSuomiAreena-ohjelmisto näkyy entistä vahvemmin MTV:llä \n\n\n\nMTV3-kanava lähettää päivittäin SuomiAreena-ohjelmaa\, koko ohjelmisto on katsottavissa maksutta mtv-palvelussa (mtv.fi\, mtv-sovellus) ja omalla SuomiAreena tv-kanavalla antenniverkossa näytetään ohjelmiston parhaat palat. PREIN on yksi Suomen akatemian rahoittamista osaamiskeskittymistä. \n\n\n\nLisätietoa www.prein.fi/suomeksi  \n\n\n\nLisätietoa Suomen akatemian lippulaivaohjelmasta

SUMMARY:MedPhab - Photonics pilot line for medical diagnostics Webinar
DESCRIPTION:This webinar introduces MedPhab\, presents its technology capabilities and how to work with MedPhab. Register to the Webinar and find out possible solution to your company product development problem! More information and registration Here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMedical device industry is a rapidly growing opportunity area for photonics technologies\, with applications ranging from diagnostics to surgical tools and therapeutics. Development of photonic medical devices is a highly complex process as the devices consist of numerous photonic and non-photonic components\, which need to be combined for the required functionality. \n\n\n\nDelays in product development are caused by the heterogeneous nature of photonic devices and fragmented offering of the companies. Additionally\, regulatory compliance can substantially delay further the product launch if the certified fabrication is not properly addressed in the early phase of the development. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMedPhab introduces a modular approach that significantly simplifies the design and production of these complex systems. For the accelerated design and fabrication\, a technology library of MedPhab with catalogues of design and fabrication limits and rules are established. In MedPhab\, processes and services of research organizations and ISO13485 certified companies are seamlessly coordinated catering for a wide range of development needs from proof-of-concept phase to medical grade pilot production. \n\n\n\nPhotonics Finland member VTT represents the Finnish Expertise in MedPhab community.
