SUMMARY:MedPhab - Photonics pilot line for medical diagnostics Webinar
DESCRIPTION:This webinar introduces MedPhab\, presents its technology capabilities and how to work with MedPhab. Register to the Webinar and find out possible solution to your company product development problem! More information and registration Here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMedical device industry is a rapidly growing opportunity area for photonics technologies\, with applications ranging from diagnostics to surgical tools and therapeutics. Development of photonic medical devices is a highly complex process as the devices consist of numerous photonic and non-photonic components\, which need to be combined for the required functionality. \n\n\n\nDelays in product development are caused by the heterogeneous nature of photonic devices and fragmented offering of the companies. Additionally\, regulatory compliance can substantially delay further the product launch if the certified fabrication is not properly addressed in the early phase of the development. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMedPhab introduces a modular approach that significantly simplifies the design and production of these complex systems. For the accelerated design and fabrication\, a technology library of MedPhab with catalogues of design and fabrication limits and rules are established. In MedPhab\, processes and services of research organizations and ISO13485 certified companies are seamlessly coordinated catering for a wide range of development needs from proof-of-concept phase to medical grade pilot production. \n\n\n\nPhotonics Finland member VTT represents the Finnish Expertise in MedPhab community.
