DESCRIPTION:Image: Photonics Finland member SPECIM\n\n\n\nPhotonics Finland / Photon Hub project organizes ‘Spectral Imaging and its Applications’ demo course. This course is provided in collaboration with the Computational Spectral Imaging Lab of University of Eastern Finland within the PhotonHubPhotonics Innovation Academy initiative. This training is suitable for everyone who wants to gain and expand their practical knowledge on spectral imaging devices\, the data they collect and how that data can be used and analyzed. This training is very much hands-on with three demo sessions. Also there is no previous experience needed for joining.  \n\n\n\nDemo 1: Acquiring images with spectral cameraDemo 2: Spectral image data structureDemo 3: Basic operation on spectral data\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor the training there are two dates available:On 16th of February 2022 the training will be held online. DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with Business Finland\, Photonics Finland is organizing an Info Session on the upcoming research funding opportunity focused on Next Generation Integrated Photonic Sensing to facilitate timely project development\, networking\, consortium building and proposals preparation. \n\n\n\nThe Photonics Call 2022 will be published on the Eureka-Website at https://www.eurekanetwork.org/open-calls/ and on relevant websites of the participating research funding organisations (RFO). Call preannouncement and details on thematic scope\, eligibility\, preparation of application and call timeline can be found at the following LINK. The official call announcement opened on 14th of April 2022. \n\n\n\nFinland is one of the nine participating countries in this call alongside Austria\, Belgium-Flanders\, Denmark\, France\, Germany\, Ireland\, Poland and Switzerland.
