We are now looking for a
Process Engineer
to strengthen the team in Espoo, Finland. The process engineer supports the development activities for products and processes to reach beta devices, by establishing yield targets and developing improvements plans.
The process engineer is responsible for establishing, planning and managing DOEs and statistical analysis practices and tools for product development. (S)he supports the preparation of measurement plans working closely with operators, tools responsible and designers to check measurement tool capabilities, required test structures and respecting deadlines and deliverables.
Besides this, the process engineer develops and introduces in-line measurement procedures performing the measurements when needed, and defines incoming/outcoming inspection procedures in cooperation with suppliers. Writing process instructions, updating process flow documentation and process module descriptions including recommendations for future development plans are also tasks of the process engineer.
The process engineer works in close cooperation with operators to understand tool capabilities, processing schedule, bottleneck risk and to provide input for improving lead time or providing backup solutions. (S)he also performs wafer in-line inspection and metrology in both short loop as well as full loop mode as required.
To succeed in this position, you should have a BSc degree in a related field. Besides this, you are expected to have at least two years of experience in DOE and process development, particularly in MEMS and/or photonic platforms. Experience in process integration and quality root-cause analysis practices is also required.
Since the process engineer will be a part of an international team, you need to be fluent in both written and spoken English. As a real team worker, (s)he must have a grown mind set, be a quick learner, have a good sense of priority and be able to train other team members.
