January 2024 started a new EU-project DEEPSUPPORT (Interregional DeepTech & Photonics support for Manufacturing). This one-year project is a collaboration between 6 partners representing 5 regions (Austria, Finland, Slovenia, Hungary & Italy) and aims to map the strengths and needs of the different regions to find collaboration opportunities.
During the project there will be 3 different Focus groups organized (Technology, Innovation, Policy) that will meet twice to discuss about their expertise and the challenges they face. Caroline Amiot from Photonics Finland will contact relevant Photonics Finland members during the spring to participate in those groups.
