Photonics Finland along with the European Optical Society (EOS) wants to welcome Anika Tabasum Anu, our new Project and Marketing Intern onboard who has started in April 2024.
Anika holds an M.Sc. degree in Photonics Technologies from Tampere University. She gained over one year of experience working in the Metaplasmonics group as a research assistant in Tampere University which works on engineering nanophotonic devices.
Anika is supporting Photonics Finland and EOS with the implementation of Photonics Finland and EOS communication and marketing materials, production and marketing of the OPD 2024 (Helsinki 28 – 30 May 2024) event, and the EOSAM 2024 event (Naples, Italy 9-13 September 2024).
As being now in the early stages of her career, Anika is extremely curious in honing her skills in research and development, digital marketing, social media marketing, as well as event production and management. She aspires to leverage her background in photonics in order to contribute her level-best to the growing photonics environment in Finland.
