P4I: Photonics Bretagne ClusterXchange, in conjunction with PhD Days 2024

In a nutshell

This three-day, fully English-speaking event, aims to bring together PhD students, research centres and companies from the field of photonics and to explore entrepreneurship together.

On the agenda: conferences and roundtable, PhD pitches, PhD posters, « PhD to Startup » workshop, 1-to-1 appointments with CEOs, networking, and visits to industry and research facilities. The full agenda can be consulted on the event page.

This is a free event, but registration is requiredIn addition, PhD students participating to the PhD to Startup Workshop will be offered free board (accommodation, meals and local transportation).

Thanks to Photonics4Indsutry, this event is eligible to the ClusterXchange funding scheme and a travel grant of 450€ can be awarded to eligible companies and research labs. Travel & Accommodation

In Brittany, the international airports of Rennes and Brest have several direct connections to major European cities. South of Brittany, the airport in Nantes is also at a reasonable distance.

Upon arrival, travelers can either rent a car (see the airport websites) or take the train, although driving might be the fastest way to reach the Pink Granite Coast.
