ABOUT THE NEW BOOK “Mission Out of Control”
Mission Out of Control combines Dr. Camarda’s first-hand experiences at NASA with lessons on leadership, decision-making, and teamwork in high-risk environments. The book explains how technical challenges often stem from human and organisational factors – and how openness, trust, and listening to different perspectives can prevent crises.

It is both an inspiring space exploration story and a practical guide for anyone interested in problem-solving, innovation, and building high-performing teams. Suitable for leaders, students, professionals in demanding fields, and anyone curious about what happens behind the scenes in space missions.
