The world’s first E-ink display smartphone with 5G connectivity utilizes Nanocomp light guide technology

Hisense is practically the only manufacturer that still makes phones that double as e-readers. This year it changed its strategy from launching phones with dual displays – a standard screen + e-ink – to a single screen which is an e-ink display. Now it is set to announce its very first 5G phone with an e-ink screen that will launch as the Hisense A7. The Hisense A7 5G reading smartphone uses a 6.7-inch screen with a 300ppi pixel density. It also utilizes Nanocomp light guide technology into front-light.
