Riveria is one of the largest vocational education and training (VET) provider in Finland. Riveria provides versatile continuing education to meet the constantly growing labour needs in the field of photonics. The training content can be adapted to company’s requirements.
Upcoming: Photonics recruiting – Open discussion event
Photonics Flagship PREIN and Photonics Finland organize open discussion event that focus on Finnish Photonics companies recruiting needs.

The discussion topics are company challenges when recruiting but also sharing the needs and good practices among photonics community in Finland. In registration the company needs and discussion topics are collected and pointed out during the event.

Photonics Education for company needs – videodocumentaryBusiness Joensuu organized Photonics education path project with education organizations UEF, Karelia and Riveria. The focus of the project was to develop new kind of photonics education from vocational to doctoral level for photonics company needs in Finland but also provide a model to be applied in other education organisations. 

The pilot trainings were a success and provided a new kind of cooperation with education organisations. Photonics Finland member companies Oplatek, Nanocomp and Dispelix were part of the trainings and provided valuable feedback for the video documentary, link to the documentary below.

Save the Date: Photonics21 towards Horizon Europe – 5th Nov, 2020The aim of this online meeting is to keep you informed on what is happening towards Horizon Europe and a potential new partnership, but also to give you an update about the current status of the restructuring of Photonics21. Save the Date: Photonics Online Meetings #2 
3 December 2020
Photonics France will organize Photonics Online Meetings #2 on 3 December 2020.
The purpose of these meetings are to provide platform for BtoB discussion between photonics providers and end users (companies and laboratories) for business or other collaboration.

The first edition was hold on 2nd July was a real success with 170 companies. Photonics Finland members will have 15% saving on the normal price as 187€ during the early bird registration.
